A small studio on Tern Street, a street back from the beach. Pale timber, plants, two chairs and a lot of morning light. Mia runs it with one senior stylist, so you get the same hands every visit and nobody rushes you out the door.

I came in with a box-dye disaster and a photo I’d been saving for a year. Mia was honest about what we could do in one go, mapped out the rest, and the balayage is the best my hair has looked in years. The studio is so calm, and I booked the next one online from the car park.
